Student Supplies

You can purchase supplies in one of two of the following ways:

1. Purchase on your own and bring them to the school during the Open House

2. The second option is parent requested, therefore we are including it. You can donate $115 to CIJS for supplies and we will shop for you. You can send a check of $115 to the school or click the “Donate” link below.  Please make sure that you write your child’s first and last name in the notes section along with the words “supply donation”.   

The supply donation is a DONATION to the school, for the purpose of purchasing supplies, and is non-refundable, regardless of reason.

Please bring your supplies to the Open House.  If you choose to hand deliver them, please bring them to the following locations contingent upon grade level.

• Preschool kiddos will bring their supplies directly to their classroom at the Open House.

• K-8 Kiddos will drop their supplies off outside of their classrooms in the boxes.   

Needed Supplies

CIJS implemented a new policy during the 2023/2024 school year. Students are NOT permitted to bring backpacks to school. Our Reggio inspired philosophy encourages shared supplies and group work, therefore there is no need for them.  Individual work that is completed usually stays at school. Any items that need to be brought home can be sent in a single folder and/or a binder which is easy to carry. Thank you in advance for understanding. For those students who need to store personal hygiene items, you may put them in the clinic or bring a SMALL purse or bag that you will carry with you. 

Supply lists may not include the following items that are necessary. Please put your child’s name on these items as they WILL NOT be shared supplies.

• Uniforms (Except VPK, but many wear them)

• Head set or ear buds for computers

• Musical Recorders (If applicable- certain grades ONLY-The music teacher will let you know.)
