Example projects:  A CIJS Scholar who wants to explain the rotation of a planet, may use motors and program them  to move according to its speed.  A scholar studying electricity may demonstrate that concept by creating circuits. A scholar who is interested in researching the water cycle, may create a “stop motion animation” to share about what they learned.

CIJS Scholars cultivate a sense of curiosity through guided research projects and are encouraged to explore topics of interest, fostering critical thinking and information gathering skills. They will become innovators, engineers, computer scientists and life-long learners!

In the Innovation Studio students learn about Robotics and build their own robots!  Learning Robotics develops problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and computational thinking. They learn basic programming concepts, algorithmic reasoning, and how to work with simple coding languages.  Additionally, hands-on robotics activities will help them understand engineering principles, teamwork, and foster creativity.
